SINGLE SESSION INTENSIVE

How it Works

Step 01

You bring a real leadership situation you're facing right now. We work through it together using the same protocols you'd learn in full coaching—defining clear standards, setting a workplace boundary, the 9+6 Delegation Framework, the CLEAR+KIND Feedback Formula, or the Holding-the-Line Protocol.

Step 02
You'll leave with:
  • A specific action plan for your situation
  • Direct experience of what coaching with me is actually like
  • Clarity on whether this methodology works for you

"I continue to reflect on the significant impact of the one-on-one coaching I received with you on a specific HR matter."

The coaching and training has had a lasting and meaningful influence on my leadership approach, particularly in fostering a respectful and collaborative work environment. It strengthened my confidence in upholding clear values and expectations as a leader, while reinforcing the importance of active listening, thoughtful reflection, and constructive dialogue in all professional interactions.

Manager of Solid Waste

"The impact Debbie has had not only on my professional life, but in turn my personal life, is hard to quantify."

She has taught me new skills and helped sharpen existing ones, provided guidance on setting boundaries and making changes, and been consistently supportive of my growth and development.

Mallory Wall

"Before taking leadership courses with Debbie Lawrence, I lacked the confidence to step into broader leadership roles or voice my opinions."

Working with Debbie over the past few years has truly transformed my career. Her guidance helped me build confidence, strengthen my communication skills, and grow into my role as Assistant General Manager at Oakfield. I don’t think I would have had the courage to apply for leadership positions without her support. Debbie didn’t just help me become a better leader—she taught me how to bring out those same strengths in my team, which has made a lasting impact on our workplace.

Summary Notes

BOOK NOW!

I’ve worked with over 500 leaders across 40 years. And I’ve watched the same pattern quietly dismantle them again and again.

A team member underperforms. The leader sees it. She knows the standard isn’t being met. But instead of addressing it directly, she manages feelings—hers and theirs. She rationalizes the gap. Lowers the bar. Picks up the slack.

And then finds herself working alone at 10 PM on a Saturday… resentful, exhausted, and wondering how she got here.

I know this pattern intimately because I lived it.

Here’s what most leadership coaching gets wrong: It tells you the solution is more empathy, more compassion, more “family culture.” As if caring harder will somehow make people perform better.

It won’t. I know, because I followed that playbook for years.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have a pressing question you need answered before scheduling a session? Below are the most common questions about the Single Session Intensive. If you don't see your question, reach out to us at hello@debbielawrence.ca so we can help!

How is this different from the free Clarity Call?

The Clarity Call is a mutual assessment: Should we work together?

The Single Session Intensive is actual coaching: You bring a real leadership challenge, we solve it using my protocols, and you leave with a specific action plan.

Clarity Call = 30 minutes, free, exploratory.

Single-Session Intensive = 60 minutes, $300, tactical problem-solving.

What should I bring to the session?

One specific leadership situation.

Not "I need to be a better leader" or "My team doesn't perform."

Come with:
  • "I have a team member who [specific behavior] and I've avoided addressing it for [timeframe]"
  • "I need to exit someone and I don't know how to have that conversation"
  • "I delegated a project and it came back completely wrong—I don't know what I did wrong"

The more specific you are, the more valuable the session will be.

What happens in the 60 minutes?

Minutes 1-15: You tell me the specific situation. What's happening, what you've already tried, where you're stuck.

Minutes 15-45: We work through it together using the protocols you'd learn in full coaching—the 9+6 Delegation Process, the CLEAR+KIND Feedback Protocol, or the Holding The Line framework.

Minutes 45-60: We create your action plan and troubleshoot what happens next.

You'll leave with scripts, specific next steps, and clarity on exactly what to do.

What happens after the session?

You'll receive:
• Written summary of your action plan
• Any templates or scripts we discussed

Then you implement.

If you get stuck or want ongoing support, you can book full coaching (with the $300 credit applied if you enroll within 7 days).

If you don't need more support, you're done. You got what you came for.

What if I'm not sure one session is enough?

It probably isn't.

If your challenges are systemic—multiple underperformers, avoiding several hard conversations, working 60-hour weeks—you don't need one session. You need the full leadership operating system.

The Single-Session Intensive is for:
• People who want to experience my methodology before committing to 3 months
• Leaders with ONE specific situation that needs immediate attention

If you have more than one challenge, book a Clarity Call to discuss full coaching instead.

Will this approach make me come across as harsh or demanding?

Only if you think having standards makes you harsh.

Here's the truth: You've been told that being clear is the same as being mean. It's not.

Clarity is kind. Avoiding hard conversations because you don't want to "hurt feelings" isn't compassionate—it's enabling.

In our session, you'll learn the difference between being direct and being harsh. Most leaders discover they've been so afraid of being "too much" that they've become completely ineffective.

The goal isn't to make you nicer. It's to make you clearer.

What if this doesn't work for me?

Then we're not a fit—and that's fine.

This methodology is for leaders who are ready to:
  • Set standards and hold them
  • Have hard conversations without apologizing
  • Stop managing everyone's feelings and start leading toward results

If you're looking for someone to help you be more patient, more understanding, or build a better "family culture," I'm not your coach.

But if you're exhausted from doing everyone's work, avoiding conversations you know you need to have, and wondering why nobody seems to care as much as you do, this will work.

I've already done the Clarity Call. Should I book this or go straight to coaching?

That depends on what you need.

If you're ready to commit to 3 months and you know you need the full operating system, skip the Single-Session Intensive and book coaching.

If you want to experience my methodology firsthand before committing, book the intensive. The $300 will be credited toward coaching if you enroll within 7 days.

Either way, you're moving forward. Pick the path that feels right.

Do you offer refunds?

No.

This is a coaching session, not a product. Once we've spent 60 minutes together, the work is done. You can't un-receive the insights, scripts, or action plan.

If you're not sure this approach is right for you, book a free Clarity Call first. That's what it's for.

How quickly can I book a session?

Usually within 7-10 days, depending on my calendar.

If you have an urgent situation (conversation happening this week, crisis that can't wait), email me at hello@debbielawrence.ca and I'll do my best to accommodate you.

What if I need to reschedule?

Use your calendar link to reschedule up to 24 hours before our session.

If you need to reschedule within 24 hours, email me directly at info@debbielawrence.ca.

If you no-show without notice, the session fee is forfeited and you'll need to rebook and pay again.
